Philips
HeartStart MRx |
PTS
has recently converted to using the
Philips HeartSmart MRx monitor/defibrillator. The
HeartSmart monitor allows for many more advanced features
than our previous monitors, allowing for standard and
12-lead EKG monitoring, external pacing, internal arterial
line (A-Line) pressure monitoring, and end-tidal CO2
monitoring (capnography). Units also come equipped
with blood pressure cuff and oxygen saturation (SpO2) probe.
The HeartStart has a bright multi-color display, performs
automatic self-checks at regular intervals, and can be used
as either a manual defibrillator or an automated external
defibrillator (AED). The units even have the ability
to store patient event information, and then upload it to a
computer via Bluetooth for further analysis and quality
control.

IV
Pumps |
We utilize Baxter infusion pumps on all Advanced Life
Support (ALS) and Critical Care units, which are compatible
with those used
by most hospital facilities we serve. This allows
the ALS or CCM crew to exactly match the
settings and infusion rates being administered in-hospital,
and also prevents the need to change IV tubing.
