Stryker Bariatric Cot |
 All PTS units are now equipped with
Stryker
MX-Pro cots with a weight capacity of up to 650 pounds.
However, PTS also has two units capable of utilizing our MX-Pro
Bariatric cot, with a weight capacity of up to 1,600 pounds.
This provides for greater comfort and safer transport of
bariatric patients.

Medical Air |
 While
all Physicians Transport Service ambulances are equipped
with medical oxygen, two PTS medic units are also equipped
with medical air capabilities. Medical air is often
used in combination with oxygen on ventilators and
incubators, and allows for longer distance transports than
simply carrying small portable air cylinders.
